IBJ Identification Plates
Each IBJ is uniquely identified with a durable Gravoply plate (as
illustrated) fixed to the nearest sleeper. Each joint is surveyed and identified
on a diagrammatic plan of the area and any minor repairs carried out where
required and electrically tested. It is then entered into an IBJ database and
the Ellipse system.
Defects that cannot be rectified during initial survey are identified by our IBJ 2 Part Defect Cable Label (see PDF document)
with a unique sequential reference number,and fitted around the Pandrol clip.
The second part is detached and returned to the office with a priority reference M1, M3, M6 or M12.
