SELECTEQUIP was formed in 1982 to meet the demand for quality and innovative tools and equipment designed for solving day-to-day maintenance problems. Extensive market research had confirmed that engineers often despaired of finding a solution to certain problems. Problems that often resulted in stationery production lines, idle machines or broken-down vehicles.
Customers now include local authorities, hospitals, public utilities, such as gas, electricity, and water companies, rail and bus services, as well as the vast markets of the manufacturing and automotive industries. As a fully accredited ISO 9002 company, Selectequip are approved suppliers to Network Rail, Transco, London Underground Ltd (Metronet and Tubelines), ICI and many other major companies and are accepted and approved within the framework of the Utilities Vendors Database (UVDB).
Selectequip have approval and acceptance in sixteen Link-up categories for supply within the Rail network and currently hold BR CAT Numbers for eight of their products. They currently hold Network Rail acceptance certification for four of their innovative rail products.
Operating from their modern offices and distribution centre in Lichfield, Selectequip's enthusiastic and friendly administration team strive to maintain an efficient sales order processing and delivery service.
